Jodi Eppenstein is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Senior Policy Fellow and is an Instructional Coach for the East Aurora Preschool Program in East Aurora School District 131. She also serves as the Curriculum Leadership Team Facilitator, the Language Acquisition Facilitator, and the New Educator Support Team Facilitator. Jodi was an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for 15 years before stepping out of the classroom to Coach teachers. Jodi was a 2016 Kane County Special Educator of the Year and a Golden Apple nominee in 2018. She earned her BS Ed in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University, her MSEd in Reading and Literacy from Walden University, and her LBS I and ESL Endorsements from St Francis University. She is working on her MA in Administrative Leadership.
