Erika Evans

Erika S. Evans is a 2025–2026 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and 8th-grade Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher at J.A. Fair K-8 Preparatory School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is the CTE Department Chair and Leader in Me Middle School Service Sponsor. Erika has been the Arkansas Department of Career and Technical Education’s building test coordinator, mentor, curriculum designer, collaborator, and trainer. She completed the inaugural Arkansas Career Development Association Leadership Academy, as well as was Pine Bluff High School Parent-Teacher Organization president and Pine Bluff School District Millage Campaign Chairperson. Erika earned her BS in organizational management from Wiley University (formerly Wiley College), MEd in secondary social studies education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, EdS in educational leadership (Principalship P-12) from Arkansas State University, educational leadership (P-12) doctoral student at Arkansas State University. She is certified to teach business technology and special programs in CTE.
