Felicia Reynolds is a special educator at Marie Reed Elementary School. She leads the kindergarten team as a T3 Teacher Leader and serves on the Academic Leadership Team. Prior this, Felicia was a reading specialist to urban elementary students in DCPS. She also served as her school’s student support team coordinator, committed to increasing literacy achievement. Outside of the classroom, Felicia has served as a DCPS Common Core Reading Corps Fellow, as well as a 2013-2014 National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education Fellow. She has been rated “Highly Effective” on the DCPS IMPACT evaluation system for three consecutive years. Felicia began her career in education as a 2011 DC Teaching Fellow. She holds a BS in nutritional sciences from Pennsylvania State University and a MEd in curriculum and instruction with emphasis on literacy from American University.
