Zachary Fix is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and social studies teacher at Breitung Township Schools in Kingsford, Michigan. He uses primary sources to foster critical thinking and understanding of history through the use of simulations and debates. Zachary is an active member of his union and has served on its bargaining negotiation team. He earned his BA in political science and international studies at Northern Michigan University and is certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
