Tracey Fountain is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a math and science instructional coach at South Mountain Middle School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She focuses on coaching and mentoring math and science teachers to improve their instructional and classroom practices to incorporate collaborative learning and questioning and modeling thinking strategies to increase student engagement and meet students’ academic and social emotional needs. Tracey began her teaching career in Pennsylvania as a high school business and computer teacher and has since taught middle school math. She has led the math strategy team for school improvement and supervised after-school math tutoring and library homework programs. She is a member of her local teacher union. Tracey earned her BA in Accounting and MBA from Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, an MEd in Business Education from Gwynedd-Mercy University, and an administrative credential from California University of Pennsylvania.
