Dr. Lorena Franco is a 2025–2026 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and 6-8 grade teacher at Maumelle Middle School in Maumelle, Arkansas. She teaches Spanish and translation, as well as serves as an interpreter. Lorena is the chief executive officer/founder of Franco Learn Languages, developing language programs and providing translation/interpretation services. She was recognized by the Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Women Abroad and holds the Arkansas Bilingual Interpreter Credential in Education certification. Lorena earned her bachelor’s in graphic design, MBA in marketing, and doctorate in management and development of schools from the University of Puebla.
