Erroll Franklin is a multi-level special education teacher and Dyslexia interventionist at Atherton Elementary School in Houston, Texas. He specializes in engaging, motivating, and serving students to build their self-esteem and lead lifelong learners. Erroll also serves the school and its students as the ELL testing coordinator and school safety coordinator. Erroll was named Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators’ Teacher of the Year and Atherton Elementary School (2016). Erroll is active across communities as an Association of Texas Professional Educators member and a lifetime member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Erroll earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and a MA in Teaching and Learning from the University of Arizona Global Campus, Chandler, Arizona (Formerly Ashford University).
