Desiree’ Fuller

Desiree’ Fuller, Ed.S. is a 2023-2024 Senior Fellow, and was a member of the 2022-2023 cohort of the MTLC. She is an 11th grade instructor and English Department Lead at Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Michigan. She focuses on educational equity, culturally responsive teaching, and academic excellence so her scholars take ownership in their education and have choices upon graduation for how to pursue college and career goals. She  served in several teacher leadership roles, including school improvement chair, instructional coach, and instructional coordinator. Desiree’ received the S.W.A.G. 2022 Influential Educator Award from the Michigan Chronicle and Huntington Bank. She holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, an MA in Secondary Education, and a BS in Family and Community Service-Youth Emphasis: Specialization in Children’s Health. Desiree’ also holds a certificate in Leadership for Social Justice and Equity in Education and is a Certified Restorative Practices Trainer.
