Johnny Fusilier is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Houston Policy Fellow. Johnny teaches physical education at Jessup Elementary in Houston, Texas. He also serves as the wellness team champion. Johnny previously served as a 21st Century Grant Coordinator at Pasadena ISD and as the sports coordinator for a nonprofit community organization in Dallas. Johnny coaches youth sports in his community and serves on the South Houston High School Alumni Association board. He is a graduate of the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative 2015 Dallas cohort. He graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in marketing and management. Johnny went on to complete a ThM with a concentration in urban ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary.
