Gail Hudson is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellow and a 34-year veteran educator who currently teaches 5th grade in the Clark County School District. Gail is the 2020 Nevada Teacher of the Year, a National Board-Certified Teacher, and a National Education Association fellow. She is a facilitator for Nevada National Board Professional Learning Institute: Empowering Teachers as Leaders & Learners, and is a founding member of the inaugural National Board Network of Accomplish Minority Educators (NBNAME). Gail holds a BS in education, an MA in Administration and Supervision from Loyola University, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from DePaul, and endorsements in reading and English as a Second Language (ESL) and is currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Administration and Leadership from Walden University.
