Sabrina Gamboa is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow, and grades 9-12 English Language Development (ELD) and English language arts teacher leader at Chowchilla Union High School in Chowchilla, California. She designs and leads ELD-focused professional development for all staff, oversees Crosscultural, Language and Academic Development onboarding, and is liaison to the community and the county office as the district’s ELD Coordinator. Sabrina has held positions on Chowchilla’s school site council and was the ELD content expert for two years on a differentiated assistance panel focused on English Learner matriculation. She was selected to present at the 19th annual Central Valley Literacy Conference (2025). Since 2022, Sabrina has been treasurer and co-negotiator for her local California Teachers Association chapter. She earned a BA in English from California State University, Fresno, and MA in English with a specialization in rhetoric from National University.
