Raquel Garcia is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent. She teaches 3rd and 4th grade special education at Whittier Elementary Dual Language School, where she also tutors students struggling with reading. She earned her BA in education from Northeastern Illinois University, her MEd in curriculum and instruction from American College of Education, and her EdS in Higher Education Leadership with a specialization in adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma informed learning spaces from National Louis University.
