Natali Gaxiola is a Teach Plus CA Senior Policy Fellow. Natali is a Preschool Teacher Leader at Buford State Preschool for the Lennox School District where she actively participates in the district leadership team. She focuses on teaching the whole child and supporting parents in understanding their child’s developmental needs. She is a council member in the CA Early Childhood Policy Council. She is on the Educator Advisory Council for Ed Trust West. She is on the District Leadership Team for the Lennox School District. Natali was named Early Childhood Educator of the year by Child360 for LA County (2018-19) and Employee of the Year for the Lennox School District (2021-22). Natali has served as vice president of her local union chapter and has also served on the negotiations team since 2016. She earned her BA in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills and an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from El Camino College.
