Gayle Mooney is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Indiana Teaching Policy Fellow. Gayle teaches 6th grade math and science at Scott School in Evansville, Indiana. Gayle is a member of her school’s data leadership team and serves as the secretary of the Scott School PTA. She has previously served as cheerleading sponsor and student council sponsor. Gayle was a member of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation Leadership Cadre which partnered with Brown University to provide leadership training for employees in the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation. She graduated from the University of Evansville with a BA in elementary education, a MAin education from Indiana State University, and school library media certification from Indiana University.
