Gina Wilson is a 2021-2022 Michigan Collaborative Teacher Leader. She teaches mathematics at the Early College Alliance @ Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Gina specializes in the transition from high school to post-secondary mathematics and coaching pre-service and early career teachers. She was a finalist for Michigan Teacher of the Year (2017-18), an inaugural member of the Michigan Department of Education Teacher Leadership Committee, and past president of the Michigan National Board Certified Teachers Network. Gina is a National Board Certified Teacher and is president-elect for the Learning Forward Michigan board of directors. She earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona; her MSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and teaching and administrative credentials and her PhD in Education Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
