Kayla Goodloe is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and is a job coach, transition coordinator, and Golden Apple mentor in the Champaign-Urbana Community. She focuses on teaching job skills, reporting data on IEP transition goals, and coordinating student employment opportunities. She previously served as a mentor, cooperating teacher to student teachers, Restorative Practices Facilitator (Dean), Co-Teacher, IEP case manager, and School Improvement Team leader. Kayla received three consecutive overall excellent evaluation ratings in her first three years of teaching. She is a Crystal Apple Recipient, a lead facilitator of the Golden Apple UIUC Scholar Institute, and a Tier 2/3 Restorative Practices Facilitator. She earned her BS in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University and an MEd in Diversity and Equity in Education.
