Anne Gray is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Chicago Change Agent. She teaches kindergarten through 8th grade music at Franklin Fine Arts Center, where, in addition to teaching general music, she directs the chorus and four student rock bands. She has served as a Chicago Ambassador for Music and coaches teachers throughout Chicago Public Schools on how to implement modern band into their programs. Anne was named Cook County Co-Regional Teacher of the Year and finalist for State Teacher of the Year. She has 22 years of teaching experience, all in Chicago Public Schools, including 18 years at her current school. Anne graduated from Hope College with a BM in music education and dance education. She received her MEd from DePaul University in educational leadership.
