Rhonda Green is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Belonging, Empowerment, and Mentorship Network Facilitator and social studies teacher at Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh. She began her teaching career at East Junior High School. Rhonda focuses on culturally responsive and inclusive instruction, helping develop the African American history curriculum at her school and supporting the adoption and implementation of the Advanced Placement African American Studies course. She is a Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute alumna and has facilitated professional development focused on curriculum design, culturally responsive teaching practices, and instructional leadership. Rhonda has led numerous afterschool and summer programs. She earned a BS in secondary education (comprehensive social science) from California University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in curriculum and instruction and educational leadership from Gannon University.
