Sylvia Green is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. She teaches 4th grade English language arts at Edna M. Scott Elementary School in Leland, Mississippi. Sylvia serves as the ELA Professional Learning Community coach. She has also served as the MTSS Chairperson at her school. Sylvia was rated Principal Level A Teacher and she achieved TEM Level 5 in the Shelby County School District. Sylvia is a member of the National Literacy Association and has taught various grades between 2nd and 5th grades. She earned her BS and MEd in elementary education and her EdS in leadership and administration from Delta State University.
