Amy Griffin is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and a pre-K teacher at Sallie Cone Elementary School in Conway. Amy was a member of the Park Avenue Elementary School Guiding Coalition, which focused on the building’s climate and culture, and she was the lead teacher in the pre-K department for over 10 years. Amy was named the 2016 Stuttgart Teacher of the Year and the Regional Teacher of the Year for the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative. She has been the recipient of multiple local Chamber of Commerce grants that provided enrichment for her class. Amy holds National Board Certification in Early Childhood. She has served as an officer in the Stuttgart Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, Stuttgart Chapter of Arkansas Education Association as well as in the Stuttgart School District’s Personnel Policy Committee. Amy earned her BS in early childhood education from the University of Central Arkansas and her MA in early childhood education from Arkansas State University.
