Emine Gurer Bahadir is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. She is the Dean of Academics at Harmony School of Excellence-Elementary in Houston, Texas, overseeing academic programs, supporting teachers, and ensuring high educational standards. ct (2018-2019) and holds a Teaching Star Certificate awarded by Greg Abbott (2020). Emine believes that effective collaboration can make a significant difference in a scholar’s achievement and is committed to equity in education, ensuring that every student has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. She began her education career in 2006, serving in such roles as math teacher, instructional math coach, professional learning community (PLC) leader, department head, and mentor. She was honored as Teacher of the Year and District Teacher of the Year in the Houston North Distri Emine holds a BA in mathematics teaching from Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University in Bolu and an MEd in education.
