Guy Grubbs is a Teach Plus Indianapolis Change Agent. Guy is a behavior specialist at James A. Garfield School, where he supports two classrooms of students with disabilities and helps the rest of the scholars with problem behavior. He chairs the positive behavioral interventions and supports and the school climate committees. Guy has served as the athletic director at George Washington Community School, where he revived a soccer program that had been discontinued and created a girls’ soccer program. He was an assistant director of special education at East Central Special Services, in charge of all special education programming for a local school district. While serving as a special education teacher at Broad Ripple High School, Guy was voted Teacher of the Year. He was selected as District Softball Coach of the Year for his work with the Broad Ripple High School softball team. Guy earned his BA from Indiana University/Purdue University where he was the first graduate of the Severe Disabilities Program and received his MS in School Administration at Butler University.
