Tamrah Hammond is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent. She is a full-day preschool educator at Robert Nathaniel Dett Elementary, where she serves as a member of the continuous improvement work plan team. She is a mentor teacher for National Louis University teacher preparation field experience students. Tamrah has over 14 years of experience in early childhood education, five of which have been spent working in a public school setting. Young children have taught her that learning never ends. Tamrah graduated from National Louis University with a BA in early childhood education. She also earned a professional educator license (PEL) endorsed for early childhood and self-contained general education (birth to 2nd grade). Tamrah is currently in the process of obtaining a Special Education endorsement.
