Patricia Hanafi is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and kindergarten dual language teacher at Mill Street Elementary in Naperville, Illinois. She focuses on teaching students to achieve biliteracy in Spanish and English. She also serves as one of the equity members representing Mill Street Elementary. She piloted Play to Learn in her school and was one of the key members who helped create the structure for the district. She earned her BA in psychology and Spanish from Clark University and her MAT in early childhood education from National Louis University with a focus on English as a Second Language and Dual Language.
