Hang Nguyen teaches at Lucille Roybal-Allard Elementary School, a K-6 public school located in Huntington Park, California, where she also serves as the school’s instructional coach. Hang is a National Board Certified teacher and has led professional development workshops has been awarded several grants. She spent two years teaching in Japan through the JET Program. Hang earned dual BAs in Anthropology and Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a MA in Educational Administration from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She is an alumna of Teach Plus Teaching Policy Fellowship.
