Teresa Hanson is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Teresa is a transitional kindergarten (TK) teacher at Inner City Education Foundation (ICEF) Inglewood in Inglewood, California. She has been a science lead teacher and grade-level chair. Teresa was named Growth Mindset teacher for ICEF. Teresa began her teaching career at California State University Dominguez Hills as a teacher’s assistant and has since taught TK, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade as well as sub for 11th and 12 grade. She earned an AA certificate in child development from Southwest College and a teaching credential from California State University Dominguez Hills.
