Jessica Harrington is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow. Jessica is a 6th grade special education teacher who teaches in the +STEPS program (Positive Social Thinking and Executive Planning Skills) at Nissitissit Middle School in Pepperell, Massachusetts. She focuses on teaching her students social and executive planning skills in the integration setting. She works closely with her students’ families to create a partnership and to provide support as needed. Jessica is a member of the district Social Emotional Learning team and Advisory committee. Jessica was named on Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. Jessica is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner with the Academic Language Therapy Association. She earned her BA from Fitchburg State University in early childhood development and an MEd in special education moderate disabilities from Northeastern University.
