DonDre Harris is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. DonDre is a high school social emotional learning instructor and school social worker at Academy of Urban Learning (AUL) Denver in Denver, Colorado. He focuses on teaching students social and emotional wellness skills to help them be able to recognize their emotions, values, strengths and opportunities for growth. DonDre was awarded the Indiana University (Northwest) Student Award for Social Justice and Human Rights. DonDre is a vice-captain of Black Men Run Denver, a social network of influence and impact that promotes unity and a healthy brotherhood. DonDre earned his AGS from Ivy Tech Community College. He went on to earn his BA of social work and MA of social work (concentration – school social work) from Indiana University Northwest.
