Justin Harrison is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and an 8th grade science teacher at Vandalia Junior High in Vandalia. He is association president for the Vandalia Unit Teachers Association and sits on the district’s technology committee. He has previously served on his building’s leadership committee and on the district’s curriculum committee. Justin has served on multiple statewide science related initiatives relating to curriculum design and professional development, including as a regional representative for the Illinois Science Teaching Association. He holds an MA in teaching from Greenville University and an MS in teacher leadership from Eastern Illinois University.
