D’Ann Hatler is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow and Instructional Coach at Ballinger Elementary in Ballinger, Texas. She serves as the curriculum coordinator for K-5, helping teachers navigate instructional materials, disaggregate data, and plan engaging hands-on lessons to improve student outcomes. D’Ann has served on several Texas Education Agency (TEA) educator committees, including the Educator Standards Advisory Committee, and is a TEA Teacher Leadership Fellowship alumna. She began her teaching career in 1991 in Ballinger Independent School District and has taught various grades from K-5. D’Ann earned her BA in journalism from Angelo State University.
