Lindsay Hayden is a 2022-23 Illinois Distributed Leadership Fellow and 11th grade civics teacher at Chicago Vocational Career Academy in Chicago, Illinois. She focuses on curriculum design and implementation as a department chair and service learning coach in order to build the instructional capacity of other teachers in her school. Previously, Lindsay served as a multi-classroom leader, a new teacher mentor, a district curriculum reviewer, and a grade level leader. Lindsay is a National Board Certified teacher, a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, and a proud member of the Chicago Teachers Union. She earned her BA in History and Secondary Teaching certificate at Tulane University and her MA in the social sciences from the University of Chicago.
