Josh Heideman is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Indiana Returning Policy Fellow and 5th grade reading, writing, and social studies teacher at Fall Creek Intermediate in Fishers, Indiana. He coaches track and field and basketball, and supports student clubs. Josh previously served as his school’s Equity Coach and began his teaching career as a practicum student in Muncie Community Schools before student teaching in Texas. He was listed on the Hamilton Southeastern Education Teacher Honor Roll (2019–2024), received the Outstanding Social Studies Instruction Award (2018), and interned for Filter of Hope. Josh earned his BA in elementary education from Ball State University.
