Georzetta Henderson-McDaniel is a 2025-2026 Mississippi Delta Change Agent and grades 7-9 self-contained special education teacher at Robert L. Merritt Junior High School in Indianola, Mississippi. She serves as the lead special education teacher and Multi-Tiered System of Supports Coordinator, fostering inclusive practices that support academic and behavioral interventions and ensure student success through data-driven decision-making. Georzetta is a Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellowship alumna (2024-2025). She earned her BA in criminal justice from Alcorn State University, completed the alternate route licensure program through the University of Mississippi’s Teach Mississippi Institute, and is pursuing her MS in educational psychology with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis from Mississippi State University.
