Treasa Howard-Collins is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow and childcare center assistant at Joliet Township High School’s Infant Childcare Center in Joliet, Illinois. She previously worked as a lead classroom teacher, assistant center director, and center director. Treasa received the One Hope United Turn Hope Into Action Value Award (2021) and serves on the Plainfield Consolidated School District 202 Board of Education. She has a Certificate of Completion in Child Development from Joliet Junior College and earned Gateways to Opportunities Early Childhood Education, Infant Toddler, Family Specialist, and Illinois Director Credentials. Treasa earned a BS in animal science from Florida A&M University and MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
