Tamara Hudson is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Nevada Policy Fellow and a Special Education Instructional Facilitator at Jesse D. Scott Elementary in Las Vegas. She focuses on teaching and advocating for children with exceptional needs to support their learning needs and ensure their educational, behavioral, social, and emotional success. She has held teaching positions in K-5 general education and special education, been a member Nevada State Board of Education, and facilitated various National Board Certification Teaching programs. Tamara became National Board Certified in Exceptional Needs in 2019 and was an ASCD Emergent Leaders in 2020. She earned her BS in Elementary Education and MS in Special Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her MS in Educational Leadership with an emphasis of Special Education from Sierra Nevada College.
