Rebecca Huehls is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow, and an IB Personal and Professional Skills teacher and IB Career-related Programme Coordinator at Shortridge High School, an IB for All school in Indianapolis, Indiana. She focuses on teaching students soft skills, such as critical and creative thinking, effective communication, personal development, intercultural understanding, and professional ethics. She also collaborates with community partners to provide students with work-based learning experiences in and beyond the classroom, which support students’ success after graduation. She earned a BA in English from Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland; completed Transition to Teaching at Indiana Wesleyan University; and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Butler University.
