Tyler Hunt is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow and a fifth-grade teacher at Danielle-Joy Peterson Elementary School in Naperville, Illinois. She also serves as a National Air and Space Museum Teacher Ambassador, LEAP Innovation Education Policy Working group co-leader, and member of the National Education Association representative assembly delegate. She is a recipient of the Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology Intellectual Contribution Award (2025) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She earned her BA in Elementary Education, MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on teaching diverse learners, and an English as a Second Language endorsement from Aurora University. She earned her MEd in learning design, innovation, and technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
