Ian Sunderland is a Teach Plus New Mexico Teaching Policy Fellow. Ian teaches 6th grade world history and language arts at The International School at Mesa del Sol in Albuquerque Public Schools. He has previously taught elementary, middle, and high school students at charter and district schools in Albuquerque and has worked as an administrator in college and tribal settings in Arizona. He began his career as an educator teaching at public and private schools in Europe. Ian graduated from Leeds University in Yorkshire, England with a BA in Education, and earned a MA in Education from Harvard University.
