Sarah Ilie is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and a history teacher at Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook. Sarah also teaches ELL, Honors, AP World History, and AP Psychology and serves as the speech coach and peer group adviser. She leads the World History team in developing curriculum that is accessible to all levels of learners and seeks to expand culturally diverse educational practices. Sarah has previously taught AP Macroeconomics, Comparative Global Issues, International Relations, Human Geography, and ELL United States History. She has also been a College Board AP Reader for Macroeconomics and Modern World History. She earned a BS in Biological Sciences and BA in History from University of Illinois at Chicago, an MSEd in Secondary Education from Northwestern University, and an ELL Teaching endorsement from National Louis University.
