Imani Hines is a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. A Springfield native, Imani is an 8th grade math teacher at UP Academy Kennedy in Springfield, MA where she is a cohort leader. Previously, she taught 6th grade math in Dayton, OH as a Teach for America Corps Member. While there, Imani held a variety of leadership roles including a position on her school’s culture team and the building leadership ream. Imani is a representative to the Springfield Education Association. Imani earned a BA from Smith College and an MS from The Johns Hopkins University.
