Daniel Jackson is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and is a 2nd grade teacher at Dixon Elementary School in Chicago. Daniel serves on the Instructional Leadership Team, math leadership team, and serves as the primary team department chair. Daniel is a Golden Apple Scholar, Class of 2014. He was named an Honoree for Other Grammy’s Award (2022) and selected as an honoree for ChiGivesBack (2022). Daniel serves on the Board of Directors for Illinois State University Alumni Association. He earned a BA in Elementary Education with an English Language Learners endorsement from Illinois State University, graduated from the Math Specialist Program at University of Chicago, and is currently pursuing his MA from Chicago State University.
