Kendra Jackson

Kendra Jackson is a 2025–2026 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and 9th-grade English teacher at Pine Bluff Junior High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She is part of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports team. Kendra has served as Multi-Classroom Lead, English Language Arts Instructional Coach, and 504 Coordinator. Since 2022, she has worked as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching college-level courses in reading, writing, and humanities. Kendra earned her K–6 R.I.S.E. Science of Reading Certification, became an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Certified Instructor, is a certified Professional Crisis Management Instructor, and active member of the Optimist Club of Pine Bluff. She earned a BS in criminal justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, an MEd from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, an MEd in special education from Grand Canyon University, and an MEd in administration of justice and security from the University of Phoenix.
