Cedric Jacobson is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and 11-12 grade Advanced Placement biology and advanced chemistry lab teacher at Brooke High School in Boston. He serves on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Policies working group. Cedric previously served as department chair and instructional coach, and began teaching as a 2009 Teach For America corps member. He received the Educators for Excellence Sydney Morris Activist of the Year Award (2026), Brooke’s Core Values: “Our Kids” Award (2022), and was a National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education Fellow (2017–2018). Cedric earned a BS in chemistry, BS in microbiology, and BA in biology from The University of Montana, and MEd with a concentration in leadership and policy from Southern Methodist University.
