Jalina Ramirez Chatzipantsios is a 2021-22 Teach Plus California Senior Policy Fellow and a Career & Technical Education teacher at Florence Nightingale Middle school in Los Angeles. She is a lead teacher for the Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Magnet and a Local School Leadership member and Department Chair for the CTE department. Jalina is an immigrant who became a NFTE Global Enterprising Educator in 2017 and LAUSD Teacher of the Year in 2018. Jalina graduated from the University of California, in Irvine with a BA in Sociology and received her MEd in Education from the University of California, in Los Angeles.
