D’Juan James is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent and an algebra and geometry teacher at Butler College Prep. In addition to his role as a math teacher, D’Juan has worked with the diversity equity & inclusion committee on his campus, facilitated a course in data science and critical math, completed the Men of Math Fellowship through Loyola University, and completed the Illinois Network of Charter Schools Teacher Leadership Fellowship. D’Juan is the sophomore grade level lead at his campus. He attended DePaul University for his BS in computer science. He also received his MBA from Colorado Technical University and his MEd from Moreland University.
