James Postle is a Teach Plus Los Angeles Teaching Policy Fellow who teaches the 4th grade advanced class at Dyer Street School in Sylmar, California. The school’s technology literacy facilitator since 2000, James is the School for Advanced Studies coordinator and is lead teacher for the school’s educator support and development program. A National Board Certified Teacher, James has helped develop software and multimedia production techniques to support his students’ learning. James was a Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year in 1993 and won a KLCS Video in the Classroom award in 2004. He earned his BA of Liberal Studies and MEd in Educational Administration from California State University, Northridge.
