Jariel Davis is a 2020-21 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. She is a founding member and 2nd grade Lead Teacher at Ambition Preparatory Charter School in Jackson, Mississippi. She also serves as Master Teacher for the school’s Teacher Leadership Program which is a leadership pipeline whose goal is to improve instructional delivery, thus making a positive impact on student academic performance. Jariel earned a BS in Elementary Education with endorsements in Math and Reading from the University of Southern Mississippi.
