Jason Mayer is a Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. Jason teaches AP American history and world history at Liberty Common High school, a classically-oriented liberal-arts charter school in Fort Collins, Colorado. Throughout his teaching career, Jason has served as cross country coach, Knowledge Bowl sponsor, district curriculum council member, and department chair. Jason has experience establishing and sustaining AP US History programs in both urban and rural districts, in schools with high poverty rates, and in schools with high concentrations of English Language learners. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA in Secondary Education.
