Jenna Hewitt King is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow who teaches English at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton. She is a certified SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity) Leader and Breathe for Change Wellness Champion/Yoga Teacher. She has previously taught Social Justice and Leadership. Jenna hosts many professional development opportunities for local educators centered around equity, social-emotional learning, and teacher self-care. She also serves as the High School At-Large Representative on her local teacher’s union Executive Board. Jenna received her BA in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University and her MA in Education from Mills College.
