Jessica Cuthbertson serves as the Teacher Leadership TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) for Aurora Public Schools where she is responsible for creating teacher leadership pathways and facilitating the initial pilot cohort of the Teacher Leadership Academy. A National Board Certified Teacher with over twelve years of experience, Jessica also serves as state captain for the Colorado Core Advocates network and a consultant for the Denver and National Writing Project, and works in partnership with the Colorado Department of Education’s Educator Effectiveness team as a Master Scorer facilitator. She previously taught middle school English Language Arts and served as a Teacherpreneur with the Center for Teaching Quality. Jessica graduated with a BA in Communication and Sociology from Regis University and an MA in K-12 Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver.
